Applications that want to benefit from Open Data Fire risk Forecasts can use this service to retrieve data.
The Entry point is located at https://opendata-download-metfcst.smhi.se/fwif1gv1.
The data is returned as mediatype application/json (JSON). All times are in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time).
To get a forecast, eg. https://opendata-download-metfcst.smhi.se/api/category/fwif1g/version/1/daily/geotype/point/lon/16/lat/58/data.json, can be used to get a fire risk forecast at a point near SMHI, Norrköping. To get started with the API, see Examples and Point Demo.
Reference System
Data uses Reference system (coordinate system) WGS84, World Geodetic System 1984 (EPSG:4326).
The unit is decimal degrees.
