SMHI Open Data Meteorological Forecasts, PMP, contains forecast data for the following 10 days. It is based on a number of forecast models statistical adjustments and manual edits.
Applications that want to benefit from SMHI Open Data Meteorological Forecasts can use this service to retrieve data.
The Entry point is located at https://opendata-download-metfcst.smhi.se.
The data is returned as mediatype application/json (JSON). All times are in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time).
To get a forecast, eg. https://opendata-download-metfcst.smhi.se/api/category/pmp3g/version/2/geotype/point/lon/16.158/lat/58.5812/data.json, can be used to get a meteorological forecast at a point near SMHI, Norrköping. To get started with the API, see Examples and Point Demo.
