GET /api/version/2/metadata/{type}.{ext}

Parameters

{type} Specifying which type to get metadata for. Can be meteorology, hydrology or oceanography.
{ext} The suffix specifying which mediatype to use. See mediatypes for more information.

Interpreting the metadata

The first parts of the metadata are basically CAP metadata, for example the possible values for the message element. The SMHI specific metadata comes with the event element. The event elements describes the different types of alerts that can be issued by SMHI. The most important attributes of the event element is as follows:

Each event element contains a number of event_level elements that classifies the event. The most important attributes of the event_level element is as follows:
